Spinall, Summer Walker, DJ Snake and Äyanna join forces for their new collaborative single “Power (Remember Who You Are).”

SPINALL, Summer Walker, DJ Snake, and Äyanna have dropped off their newest single, “Power (Remember Who You Are)” from the soundtrack for the upcoming short film The Flipper’s Skate Heist.  “Power” is an uplifting and motivational Afro-pop number, led by bombastic amapiano composition, and fierce vocals from Walker and Äyanna.

The track is featured in the forthcoming short film, The Flipper’s Skate Heist. According to a press release, the film follows “two masked skaters as they rob a guarded NTWRK truck for a pair of exclusive Dr. Dre roller skates.”

SPINALL, DJ Snake, Nicholas “Unknown Nick” Audino, and The Eggman handle the massively arranged production for the track. Furthermore, the collaborative track is mixed by Dr. Dre with executive production from Jimmy Iovine and LVRN’s Tunde Balogun and Justice Baiden.

The pair race through the city en route to a night at the Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace, a legendary roller rink which returned in 2022 with a roller-skating experience at The Rink at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Meanwhile, the rink is scheduled to open a flagship location in London later this year.

The forthcoming short film centers on two unknown skaters as they loot a guarded NTWRK truck in pursuit of exclusive Dr. Dre roller skates, the Chronic 2001 Skate. A 16-second teaser was released for the project in August 2022, previewing the film’s intense tone and cinematography and the skaters’ mission.

“Power (Remember Who You Are)” catches Summer Walk admist a run of scene-stealing guest spots. Since dropping her second studio album Still Over It in November 2021, the R&B superstar has continued her momentum by delivering featured appearances for a wide range of artists, including Sam Smith “You Will Be Found,” Lil Durk (“Difference Is”), Kendrick Lamar (“Purple Hearts”), The Weeknd (“Best Friends (Remix)”), and Ari Lennox (“Queen Space”
