Griselda’s Armani Caesar has teamed up with Kodak Black for her slick new track “Diana.”
Taken from her highly anticipated new album The Liz 2, “Diana” sees Caesar feeling herself over slick, throwback production. She effortlessly switches between the laidback, but confidently delivered raps of the first half, before closing out the song with some smooth, reverb-soaked vocals. Kodak’s contribution perfectly compliments Caesar’s delivery, too, with the Florida rapper flexing about what he can bring to a relationship.
The video begins with Caesar seductively posing in front of a mirror as the vintage-tinged track begins. Sticking true to her style and stature, the Griselda representative boasts lyrics confidently flexing her best assets.
“Boujee bi**h off the Ace, but get lit off Patrón/ Gangster bi**h, a female Bugzy Malone,” she spits in the first verse.
The arrival of “Diana” comes not long after Caesar recruited Griselda co-founder Westside Gunn for “Paula Deen.” Both tracks are expected to appear on The Liz 2, the sequel to her 2020 debut on the record label, when it drops on Oct. 21. That project featured her rapping alongside the label’s mainstays, which also includes Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine, as well as production from DJ Premier, 808 Mafia, and Camoflauge Monk, among others. It’s safe to assume that The Liz 2 will features some exciting collaborations when it arrives later this month, too.
The Florida rapper follows up with a verse of his own, declaring “I got a Caesar cut clean, comin’ through in Armani,” playfully shouting out his collaborator.
“Diana” is the third single released from Armani Caesar’s latest album The Liz 2 which dropped on Friday (Oct. 21.) Ahead of “Diana” she issued “Hunnit Dollar Hiccup” featuring Benny The Butcher and Stove God Cooks and more recently, “Paula Deen” with Westside Gunn.
